Sectors We Serve
Featured Project: Blyvoor Mine Water Treatment Plant
Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) to Potable Water · DRD Gold (Blyvoor) · South Africa
Sechaba led the delivery of an AMD treatment solution for DRD Gold's Blyvoor mine — converting contaminated mine water into potable water for on-site use. The plant integrated reverse osmosis (RO) with ultrafiltration (UF) pre-treatment to treat 12 megalitres per day, addressing both process-water demand and a long-standing environmental liability.
Driving Africa's energy transition through solar, wind, gas-to-power, and battery storage projects.
Spilledwater Power drives Africa's energy transition through impactful projects led by Spilledwater Renewable Energy (SWRE). Notable projects include the Karpowership SA deal — bringing dispatchable power to key South African ports — and the $60 million, 27 MW Van Staden's Wind Project. SWRE has shaped over 60 renewable energy projects in South Africa and advised 14 African and Middle Eastern countries on clean energy strategies.
